In a time when we are constantly sold on the idea of leadership, Simon McIntyre argues in favour of the effective follower. Leaders are necessarily a minority and most of us will find fulfilment in following a strong leader with a clear vision.

About the design:

Our design brief was to create a retro-modern cover with a focus on the individual. Our response was to make the straightforward title the focus, supported by the use of strong photography that mimicked the author’s message. The red circles not only linked the title with the image, but also assisted in conveying the ‘follower’ concept. View the Design

About the author:

Simon McIntyre is a member of the Senior Ministry Team of Christian City Church, Oxford Falls, Sydney, Australia. He is the Secretary of C3i – an international movement of contemporary churches. A prolific writer and an engaging communicator, Simon travels widely, speaking at conferences and churches. He and his wife, Helen, live on the Northern beaches of Sydney. They have three grown children, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
